Allez Amelie !

I went to watch a tennis match today . Woohoo .. though i really wanted to watch Nicole Vaidisova play, but she didn't get into the semi-finals , so today's semi finals match was for Justine Henin-Hardenne VS Lucie Safarova and Ameile Mauresmo VS Nadia Petrova . Yep , it was great having to watch 3 top of the 10 players in the world of tennis play. Truly cool tennis. As much as you would expect Justine and Amelie to win, both of them lost . I feel so bad for Amelie coz as a french girl, she had the support of the entire stadium and everyone was cheering so loudly for her . People made posters, brought flags and stuff to the stadium. It sorta made me realise how long it has been since i've actually been to the stadium and watched some form of sports. i think the last time was when singapore was still playing in the malaysian cup and i was watching it at the indoor stadium. So odd . Anyway .. it was great fun and i liked it . It feels so different watching a tennis match in real life compared to watching it on tv. Everything seems to move a lot faster the tennis players look a lot bigger in real life than they do on tv. The long rallies that are being played seem a lot more exciting and every ball that lands on the line is met with gasps of disbelieve of the crowd and everyone was cheering their heart out for their favourite players. I managed to get one of those sony ericsson posters that says "l 'heart'Justine", you know, the one with the sony ericsson logo on it . If you watched the WTA tour you would know what i'm talking about. Anyway .. it was definitely great fun and i can't watch the French Open to come.
